The service department of WIRS is recognised as one of the major strengths of the company. It operates from a purpose built state of the art facility which includes a welding test area, a ‘blow-out’ room with extraction and test benches for welding torches and robotic cable assemblies.
All our service engineers are Miller and Kemppi technically trained and are conversant with many other makes of welding machine, so you can be assured that you will be receiving the correct repair, service and technical back up.and can take full responsibility to deliver our services, on time and at the right price.
We also provide repairs to many makes and models of robot cable assemblies and hand welding torches. In addition we are an approved 3M repair and parts centre for the air feed respirator and powered air range of units.

Service call outs to any make or model of MIG or Tig welding machines, plasma cutting machines, Nelson Stud welding equipment and Kemper portable fume extracting units.
Validation to the latest BS EN 50504:2008 Standards.
Contract Servicing to MIG and TIG welding machines, and plasma cutting machines.
PAT electrical testing to single and three phase welding machines.
Gas equipment checks (oxygen and fuel). Regular or contract checks can be carried out on site or in house as a health and safety requirement.
