Everything For The Welder
MIG welding is a process that uses a continuous welding wire feed and gas mixture to protect the weld from contamination. TIG Welding uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode, which is then typically cooled and protected with Argon.
Here at WIRS we offer a wide range of products in this category such as SUPAWELD Mild Steel Mig Wire, Hyundai Solid Wire and ESAB Aluminium MIG Wire 5356 etc, everything for your welding needs. Below is some of our best sellers for our Welding Wire and Electrodes category, many others available so please contact us with your query.
Discover precision welding solutions with WIRS’s range of welding wires and electrodes. Designed for optimal performance, our products offer reliability and efficiency for a variety of welding applications.

OK Autrod 5356 is the most widely used welding alloy and can be classified as a general-purpose type filler alloy. OK Autrod 5356 is typically chosen because of its relatively high shear strength. The 5XXX alloy base material, welded with OK Autrod 5356, with a weld pool chemistry greater than 3% Mg and service temperatures in excess of 65°C, is susceptible to stress corrosion cracking. The alloy is non-heat treatable
*Various Sizes Available
OK Autrod 4043 is one of the most widely used welding and brazing alloys and can be classified as a general-purpose filler alloy. The silicon addition results in improved fluidity (wetting action), making the alloy the preferred choice of welders. The alloy is not sensitive to weld cracking and produces bright, almost smut-free welds. Not recommended for anodising. Non-heat treatable.
*Various Sizes Available
ESAB 5356 Tig is a non-heat treable solid aluminium wire for moderate high strength applications. Principle alloy elements include Magnesium, Manganese, Chromium and Titanium.
*Various Sizes Available
OK Tigrod 4043 is one of the most widely used welding alloys. It is used for welding AlMgSi types and AlSi alloys with up to 7% silicon. Not recommended for anodising. Non-heat treatable.
*Various Sizes Available
We can offer the ESAB Brand on all the grades for stainless less steel tig wire. The Esab Tigrod 316L has a good general corrosion resistance, particularly against corrosion in acid and chlorinated environments. The alloy has a low carbon content which makes it particularly recommended where there is a risk of intergraular corrosion. The alloy is widely used in the chemical and food processing industries as well as in shipbuilding and various types of architectural structures.

Electrodes are essential for achieving precise welds. Explore our electrode selection:
Mild Steel electrode with good Weldability in all positions including vertical down. Excellent gap bridging and arc-striking ability. For tack welding and load fit ups. General purpose for industry and trade, assembly and shop welding, repair & maintenance.
*Available in 2.5mm , 3.2mm , 4.0mm
ELGA P 51 is a low hydrogen AC/DC electrode designed for welding mild and higher strength steels. It combines strength and toughness and is particularly suitable for heavily restrained sections where there can be a risk of cracking due to weld stresses. With its excellent general operability and good positional welding characteristics p 51 is often used for pipe welding. It operates without difficulties on both primer treated and rusty material. This together with the exceptional good slag detachability, even in root runs, gives P 51 superior radiographic quality.
*Various Sizes Available
P45S is a multi-purpose rutile-cellulosic coated electrode suitable for a wide application range in mild steel. The electrode is fully positional, including vertical down and welds with a crisp, steady arc to produce a smooth bead surface with good slag detachability.
Cromarod is a rutile flux coated AC/DC electrode intended for welding the low carbon, molybdenum alloyed, acid resisting austenitic stainless steels of similar composition. Operability is excellent with a smooth low spatter arc producing an exceptionally good weld bead appearance. Fillet welds have a smooth surface, slightly concave profile with excellent toe line blend-in and a self-releasing slag
Grades Available:, 312 , 308L, 309L, 316L
